This project involves upgrades to a Department of Transportation radio site located 40 in Southeastern Wisconsin. Scope includes replacing the interior generator with a larger exterior generator, along with 41 upgrading the on-site LP fuel supply tank. Additional scope includes upgrades to the site electrical infrastructure and 42 general site upgrades that accommodate the new site equipment. The site operates as a communications node for 43 statewide public life safety operations. The scope of this project shall inevitably disrupt services, which shall be 44 coordinated with the agency a minimum of two weeks in advance. Care shall be taken to minimize the duration and 45 extent of operational outages. Extreme caution must be exercised throughout construction to ensure site operations 46 are maintained at all times during construction. Temporary facilities will be provided to allow for the minimal number 47 of required outages on equipment designated “critical” by the facility and A/E.
