Construction will involve site preparation, construction and testing of Well #3 for the Fairchild Water Utility. The well will be located in a wooded area in the Village of Fairchild, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. The work consists of drilling and testing a single formation, open borehole, partially cased well completed in the Mt. Simon aquifer. The completed well must be capable of providing not less than 200 GPM for the Fairchild Water Utility. At any point in the process the Owner may order Work to be stopped with payment only for items completed based on bid prices. The well construction is configured for use as a Final Well with the intent to test the yield and water quality before designating as a Final Well. The well is considered both a Test and Final Well.
