Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The Work consists of replacement of the existing shingle roof system with a new standing-seam metal panel roof system at Glen Oaks Tri Buildings A & B in Janesville, Wisconsin for Rock County. B. The Work includes: 1. Related sheet metal and carpentry work, including replacement of gutters and downspouts. C. The Work may include: 1. Alternate Add #1: Installation of prefinished sheet metal fascia cladding over the existing wood fascia at all eaves and rake edges. 2. Alternate Add #2: Installation of a snow retention system in isolated areas along eaves, where shown in the Construction Drawings. D. The specification is based on use of Firestone UNA-CLAD UC-4 metal roof panels with a minimum ten (10) year warranty. Ownership may consider written substitution requests for panels from a different manufacturer, provided bidder gains approval prior to the listed question cut-off date, per the specified substitution request requirements. E. The Owner will not be responsible for any work associated with this project.
