Provide staff (ideally 2+ years’ experience) to perform surplus property activities including: complete and submit surplus land marketing plan, evaluate, identify and update surplus land inventory, obtain regional section approvals for sale and/or leasing of surplus land, manage and perform the marketing and sales process, determine land values through approved assessed value methods or appraisals, coordinate property inspections including asbestos inspection and removals, winterizing properties, abandonment of wells and septic systems, removal of underground storage tanks, demolition of improvements, as well as management of scenic easements. This position reports directly to a TSS supervisor who is in responsible charge reviewing and approving documents and decisions. Approximately 40 hours per week located primarily at the consultant’s office (20% at the Southwest Region Office.)
