The City is seeking a consultant to lead them and the City Staff through the process of developing a five-year strategic plan with the deliverables outlined below. The City desires an inclusive process involving input from the Council members, City Staff, residents, and businesses, as well as input that can be derived from historical planning efforts, such as the Comprehensive Plan. The City encourages the consultant to utilize their own model for providing these strategic planning services but anticipates the following activities to be an integral part of this assignment: • Interviews with the Mayor and Council members • Interviews with the City Administrator and Department Heads • Facilitation of workshops with the Council and staff • Facilitation of public input from stakeholders including residents, businesses and associations • Preparation of a draft report and draft findings • Preparation of a final report and presentation to the Common Council • Development of a Work Plan to accompany the Strategic Plan
