Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will be required to plow snow, without notice, at each applicable Park & Ride following a 1” snowfall or as reasonably requested by the Waukesha County Highway Operations Manager or his designee. The parking lot, sidewalks and bus shelters must be cleared before 6:00 a.m. If a 1” or more snowfall occurs between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Contractor must plow paths down each parking row and clear sidewalk and bus shelters before 4:00 p.m. Contractor will then return during the night to completely clear lot before 6:00 a.m. the next day.When spot de-icing of less than 20% of the parking lot is required, salt and sand must be applied as conditions dictate at no additional charge. No special products are required for salting; standard road/sidewalk salt is acceptable. Extra shoveling may be required during the day only upon request by the Waukesha County Highway Operations Manager or his designee. Snow removal hauling will be required when snow accumulation hinders parking and only by request of the Waukesha County Highway Operations Manager or his designee.
