Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide snow plowing services for the winter 2022‐2023 season. The service areas include: Area 1: Northwest Ramp & Taxiway Area (443,700 sf) Area 2: Endeavour Dr & Drive Lane (95,800 sf) Area 3: MRO & GAC Main Ramps (632,500 sf) Area 4: Commercial Ramp Area (632,500 sf) For this area, Airport staff will remove snow away from the terminal boarding bridges. The outline will show where the contractor will begin snow removal. Area 5: Admin & Blue Lot Parking Areas, Racetrack & Entrance Rd (526,500 sf) Area 6: Long Term, Short Term & Rental Parking Areas (933,800 sf) Area 7: Airside Ramp & South Taxilane Areas (1,090,900 sf) Area 8: Ares Drive, Landside Roadways & Parking Lot Areas (217,750 sf) Area 9: Fed Ex Ramp Area (143,600 sf) Area 10: Atlantis, Discovery & Challenger Dr Areas (331,500 sf) Contractors may propose one or multiple areas. See highlighted map that references the areas that will be grouped together. The awarded contractor shall comply, provide and abide by the following: Provide snow plowing services as required to clear. The Contractor shall commence operations when 1” inch of snow accumulates on pavement. The Contractor will be notified by the Airport when such even occurs and must be onsite within one hour or such notification. The Contractor will only be responsible for snow plowing. No removal services are needed. The Contractor will plow to a common location in each area and Airport staff will do the removal. The Contractor should routinely monitor the weather’s developments using local media outlets at no additional cost to the Airport. The contractor could use their judgement to initiate resources to react to forecasted winter storms, however the Contractor will be notified by the Airport when snow operations will commence. Snow removal operations shall continue until the surface have been cleared and considered safe for aircraft operation or otherwise released by the Airport. The Airport shall monitor and give guidance to the Contractor’s personnel for work in the lots and any other requested areas. The Contractor is responsible for the overall accomplishment of the snow removal effort as directed. The Contractor shall supply to the Airport the names and telephone number of their key personnel.
