The contractor shall supply all necessary equipment and materials and perform the work needed to properly complete the examinations and submit the sewer CCTV exams in digital video format and the PDF reports on a flash drive or external hard drive. All equipment and materials shall be rated for use in the conditions present in the sewers to be examined. The cost of all work, equipment, and materials required to perform the examinations and prepare all digital submittals shall be included in the bid item: Sewer Exams by CCTV-Remote Camera, unless specifically stated otherwise in these special provisions. All CCTV work shall conform to current National Association of Sewer Service Companies Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (NASSCO-PACP) standards. Each sewer run to be examined shall be stationed starting with zero at the beginning of the run. The stationing shall be continuously displayed on the video exam. Sewer examinations shall be conducted at a rate of no greater than 30 feet per minute. The full circumference of the pipe shall be visible throughout the video, clearly illustrating the characteristics of the original sewer. The Contractor is required to stop and rotate the camera to look into all service connections encountered and note on the report whether each connection is bulkheaded, open, filled with debris, or actively flowing.
