Specifications include, but are not limited to: MPS is seeking a single vendor for the design, installation, and configuration of an enterprise-wide IPbased video surveillance system and associated components, including video recording devices (e.g., NVRs, servers, or appliances), cameras, video monitors, and Video Management Software. The proposed solution must have site-based network video recorders and cameras managed from VMS. The VMS must be an enterprise-level solution scalable from one client, server, and camera to hundreds of clients, servers, and thousands of cameras. The proposed solution must record and store a minimum of two days of surveillance records (video, audio, events, logs) on each site-based system. The proposed solution must submit a daily archive of surveillance records over the MPS WAN to an existing Storage Area Network (SAN) storage system for longer term storage. The proposed solution must interface with existing Honeywell WIN-PAK access control and Radionics burglar alarms to trigger events, including notification of appropriate personnel. In an effort to ensure cost effectiveness for MPS, the proposed solution must integrate existing analog and ONVIF-compliant IP cameras. Design, installation and configuration of all system components, including any required cabling, will be the responsibility of the vendor.
