• Replace air interrupting circuit breakers with new vacuum interrupter circuit breakers. Existing 3 breakers are Westinghouse 5kV 50DH150 breakers. 4 • Install all wire and cable as necessary for a complete installation as shown on the drawings. 5 • Replace electromechanical relays with microprocessor-based relays. 6 • Replace the metering with an electronic multi-function meter. 7 • Incandescent indicator lights to be replaced or added with LED push to test indicating type lights. 8 • Switches for lockout (86), maintenance mode, and local/remote control to be added. 9 • Replace and add test switches as indicated. 10 • Replace switchgear control power transformer (CPT). 11 • Use a single sheet of sheet metal to cover penetrations from existing protection and control 12 equipment and for mounting new equipment. 13 • Load engineer-provided relay settings into the relays. 14 • Install wiring for Zone Selective Interlock (ZSI) scheme between breakers. 15 • Provide commissioning assistance for new devices. 16 • Tie new meter into BAS system. Install modbus cable from meter to BAS control panel. 17 • Replace 48V system including batteries and charger providing control power to the switchgear. 18 Batteries to be installed and tested prior to cutting over 48V control power. 19 • All phasing to be coordinated with the owner. One bus outage will occur at a time 20 • Replace enclosure ventilation fan. 21 • Replace 120V breakers supplied from the CPT 22 • Supply, connect, and remove temporary generator to supply the Biotran load during construction 23 affecting the Biotran feeder. Biotran load is a 30A, 208V load. Fuel to be supplied by the contractor. 24 • 14” 240V turbine vent fan and thermostat in the switchgear to be replaced in kind.
