• Snow Plowing & Clearing: o Plow all designated roadways and parking lots to maintain safe vehicle movement and access. o Clear all parking stalls, drive aisles, and pedestrian walkways within covered lots. • Snow Hauling & Stacking: o Relocate and/or haul snow to designated snow storage areas as directed by the Airport Authority. o Ensure snow piles do not obstruct sightlines, signage, access points, or drainage systems. • Ice Control & Treatment: o Apply de-icing or anti-icing agents (salt, sand, liquid brine, or approved alternatives) as necessary to maintain safe surfaces. o If airport salt is used, use of salt shall be tracked and not charged back to the airport for materials used. Furthermore, use of salt from the airport salt bunker requires adherence to local, state, and federal laws/regulations. o Contractor must provide material specifications for approval prior to use. • Monitoring & Response: o Contractor must be on-call 24/7 during the winter season (November 15 – April 30). o Response time for mobilization shall not exceed 60 minutes from initial notification by the Airport. o For any weather advisory that includes snowfall or ice potential that is issued prior to an event, the contractor will automatically respond to the airport to begin pretreating surfaces or at the ready to remove snow. o Contractor shall provide continuous service during storm events until conditions are stabilized.
