Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Chippewa Falls Shared Ride Taxi Program is a public transportation system that provides an essential transportation service for transit dependent persons and the public. The service area covers approximately eleven (11) square miles and is restricted to the corporate city limits of the City of Chippewa Falls. Based upon operating statistics provided in ATTACHMENT ONE (2005 through 2009), the program carried an average of 64,250 passengers annually; 200 passengers per day during weekdays (Monday-Friday); and, an average of 80 passengers per day Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. The operating statistics are based upon service provided from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Friday, and from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.
