Restorative Justice (RJ) programming will: A. Provide county-wide intake and referral services for Dane County youth ages 12-16 as a diversion from the traditional Municipal Court process; B. Screen referrals and distribute appropriate cases to a network of restorative justice providers; C. Facilitate restorative interventions with youth a circle process, including training of youth, RJ facilitation, follow-up with youth participants around repair harm agreements, data collection, and coordination with community partners; D. Train community partners on restorative justice practices and their implementation. Applicants should be able to address all components of the program listed above. Proposals maybe submitted by a single entity or a collaborative partnership. In the case of a collaborative application, one lead agency must complete the application and act as the fiscal agent.
