1. Removal and crushing of the concrete planks to 3" minus. Place as a fill in for the building's basement area. 2. Break/saw concrete walls to 4 feet below grade and place in the basement area as fill. 3. Backfill with acceptable fill (City-provided from demolished school sites, then contractorprovided if needed) to 2 feet below the surrounding grade. 4. Backfill remaining to the surrounding grade with sandy/silt to 6" below the finished grade. 5. Cover, seed, and erosion blanket site. 6. The site should be free of hazardous materials; however, if hazardous materials are discovered, stop work immediately and notify the City. 7. Obtain necessary Federal, State, and local permits Approximate size of opening: 9 feet deep, 332 feet long, 65 feet wide. Approximate backfill needed 6,530 cubic yards.
