Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Milwaukee Department of City Development (DCD) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (the “Contractor”) to provide unarmed security services for select properties at the Former Northridge Mall located near the intersection of North 76th Street & West Brown Deer Road. The City of Milwaukee intends to conduct environmental cleanup, demolition, and site restoration activities at the former Northridge Mall. The mall began operating in 1972 and closed in 2003. Since that time part of the mall was redeveloped by various retailers and fast food restaurants, while other portions of the mall have languished and deteriorated into an unsafe condition. The City acquired the former Boston Store in 2017 and issued raze orders against the remaining mall buildings in 2019.
