The University of Wisconsin-Madison is requesting bids for the purchase of an RF SHIELDED CHAMBER, furnished and installed. Panels constructed of ¾” particle board with 26-gauge galvanized steel laminated to both faces. Panels installed at all walls, floor and ceiling to create a 6-sided conductive enclosure One 4’0” x 7’0” RF steel door that guarantees the shielding performance listed below. Two RF electrical filters for power and lighting (electrical circuits by UW-Madison) Two HVAC waveguides 12” X 12”manufactured from tin-plated brass honeycomb material One 4” pass-through tubular aluminum waveguide One fire protection waveguide manufactured from copper or iron pipe One penetration panel manufactured from aluminum (allowing for possible addition of connectors in the future) Delivery and installation at Engineering Hall, UW Madison, 4th floor, room 4624 One 24 VDC lighting controller with dimming (installation by UW-Madison) Three - 1x4 LED light fixtures with external power supply (installation by UW-Madison) Single-phase, two-wire, UL-listed 2x10A 50/60 Hz power line filter with a rated voltage of 30 VAC / 50 VDC – for LED lighting The bidder guarantees that the completed RF enclosure will provide the following RF Shielding performance: -Magnetic Field – 20dB@1kHz / 64db @ 10 kHz / 110 dB @ 1 MHz – 30MHz -Electric Field – 110 dB from 1 kHZ – 30MHz -Plane Wave – 110 dB from 30 MH – 1 GHz -Microwave – 100 dB from GHz – 10 GHz
