Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this project is to create a digital transformation framework that includes consideration of the following elements: baseline readiness assessment, best practices, and priority opportunities for implementation of artificial intelligence, machine learning, neural networking, and advanced data analytics (including but not limited to comparative analytics and business intelligence), from here on referred to as advanced data solutions, that improve our understanding of our water reclamation and conveyance facilities and improves the ability to evaluate data in real-time to improve decision-making and outcomes at MMSD. The general scope of work for this contract includes: • researching and presenting best practices for implementation of advanced data solutions; • identifying risks, barriers, and mitigation strategies for implementation of advanced data solutions; • review of existing reference information, including—data infrastructure, information governance, software, data collection points, data (as needed), assets, systems, staff resources, programs and initiatives (e.g., asset management, building information modeling, SCADA upgrades, etc. referenced in Attachment C of this RFP), and cybersecurity measures; and • provide recommendations for implementation of advanced data solutions opportunities at MMSD and identify high-level connections and opportunities to leverage the developed digital transformation framework to bolster ongoing data projects and initiatives shared in Appendix C. The consultant will develop and deliver a digital transformation framework for MMSD as outlined in the scope of services. The delivered framework will include goal setting and deployment strategy for advanced data solutions at the MMSD water reclamation and conveyance facilities.
