General The Basic Services provided by the Owner’s Representative shall include: • Provide the Village with a preliminary evaluation of the Village’s current project status, schedule, and construction budget requirements. • Periodically review the development of the design for the Project, and provide recommendations to the Village for systems, materials, equipment, and techniques that may be utilized to achieve design standards for the Project, if any. • If the current site is to be rebuilt with a new public works facility, find temporary facility locations and complete renovation of the space, if needed. • Assist the Village in coordinating the professional services of surveyors, special consultants, and testing laboratories required for the Project. • Assist the Village in bidding, reviewing the qualifications of, and in selecting and retaining, the contractor for the Project. • Develop a strategy, procedure, and schedule to assist the Village in obtaining the required reviews and approvals of authorities having jurisdiction over the Project; and shall assist the Village in connection with the Village’s responsibility for filing documents required for such approvals.
