Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is seeking bids for labor and materials to replace five (5) single loop boiler controllers in boiler #4 at the Northern Wisconsin Center (NWC) Heating Plant on the NWC campus located at 2820 East Park Avenue, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729. This water tube boiler generates up to 20,000 pounds of saturated steam per hour. The boiler has a design rating of 350 psig but operates at 110 psig. Primary fuel is natural gas with no. 2 fuel oil as a backup fuel. . The five existing Preferred PCC-II controllers perform the following functions on boiler #4: Boiler submaster controlling boiler firing rate . Forced draft fan operation . Oxygen trim, boiler efficiency, flue gas temperature, ambient air temperature . Drum level and steam flow . Boiler draft . Repairs include, but are not limited to, the five (5) single loop controllers, 24 volt DC power supply, programming the new controllers, and labor to install the controllers.
