Specifications include, but are not limited to: Tribal nations and counties receiving funding under this grant program must: • Comply with all tribal nation, state, county, and municipal requirements for accreditation, certification, and licensing. (If there are no requirements, explain this on the application form.) • Use evidence-based practices for substance use disorder treatment. • Provide nonnarcotic, nonaddictive injectable medication-assisted treatment to a resident fivedays immediately preceding reentry to the community. • Provide care coordination for residents exiting the tribal nation or county jail. • Establish and follow a care coordination plan to enroll all program participants in medical assistance for continued treatment during and after reentry.
