The City of La Crosse is seeking to select an Engineering Firm to enter into a two-party agreement for a Highway Safety Improvement Project (HSIP) under State/Municipal Agreement. The project is a 2-party agreement with the City to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for the intersection of Mormon Coulee Rd (USH 14) & Birch Street. Design services are funded 100% by the City. Construction will be funded 90/10 with the State of Wisconsin DOT, as part of the Federal HSIP program. Therefore, design work is subject to all pertinent program requirements. A Firm must understand and be able to meet the requirements of the HSIP program is a critical component of this project and large portion of the selection criteria being evaluated. The goal is to meet the DOT letting date of October 9, 2029.
