The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a Contractor to perform lead paint removal and remediation services at Building 2 of the USACE Fountain City Service Base. The work involves disassembling and removing seven separate homemade shelving units found to have been sealed by paint containing lead. The Contractor will remove and replace an interior metal door and replace or remediate the door jamb, both of which were coated in lead-containing paint. Contractor will remove abandoned air exchanger ductwork found to have been sealed with lead-containing paint. All materials will be properly disposed of off-site in compliance with local, state and Federal regulations. All metal shelving must be recycled.
In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is less than $25,000.
An Offer Guarantee (i.e. Bid Bond) and/or Performance and Payment Bonds are NOT required.
The North American Industry Classication System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 562910, Remediation Services, with a Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard of $25,000,000. This solicitation is intended to result in the aw ard of one firm-fixed price construction contract.
This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses.
