1. Variable Air Volume (VAV) Box Replacement: Replace all existing VAV boxes building-wide. Scope to include any associated ductwork replacement needed, relocation of boxes from in-classrooms (where applicable) to hallways, and relocation of boxes that are blocked by current location in the ceiling. 2. Replacement/Relocation/Refurbishment of Air Handling Units 2 and 3: Firm to review and provide recommendations and associated costs with -n-ceiling air handling units dedicated to the upper gymnasium to be: a. Replaced with a dedicated chilled water supply line b. Replaced and relocated to a new area c. Refurbished and have an added chilled water line d. Add Demand Controlled Ventilation on the Gym Air Handling Units 3. Air Cooled Chiller Replacement: Replace the existing water cooled chiller and cooling tower with a new high efficiency air cooled chiller located where the cooling tower currently is located. Includes a new concrete pad and acoustical wall around the chiller. Include new fencing/demolition of existing fencing to enclose the new chiller. Include any associated pumps dedicated to the chiller. 4. IT/Rooftop Unit for Server Room: Replace the unit with a new unit with new roof mounted condensing unit. a. Replace the unit/fan motor currently above the room in the mezzanine with an in ceiling option/in mezzanine option. 5. DDC Controls: Install a complete new DDC system with new "Front End", all new controllers and new end devices on all HVAC equipment. This includes all current equipment that will not be replaced and/or will be refurbished including: air handling units, boiler, exhaust fans, and any other mechanical equipment on the campus. 6. Well System Pressure Tank Replacement: Replace the existing steel tank with bladder tanks and variable frequency drive pumps. 7. Water Softening System Replacement: Replace the water softening system with a new high performance water softening system. 8. Hot Water Heater Replacement: Replace the domestic water heaters with (2) high efficiency water heaters, including recirculation pump for hot water demand. Alternates: 1. Rooftop Freezer and Cooler Refrigeration System Replacement: Replacement of the existing rooftop freezer and cooler refrigeration system, including the interior fan units and controls. 2. Air Handling Units Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) Replacement: Replacement of the existing air handling units VFD (AHUs 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7). 3. Bypass Feeder Replacement: Replace existing bypass feeders for closed loop system.
