Location(s): Garage: GB1, GB2, GD1, GD2, GA1, GC1, *1B6 (encapsulate exterior only), 1B7, *1C6(encapsulate exterior only) Windows to remain REMOVE AND REPLACE WINDOW (Abatement) Using lead-safe abatement practices, remove and properly dispose of the existing window sashes, parting bead, and outer stops. Supply and install a new northern climate HUD/FHA Energy Star rated replacement window unit sized to fit the existing opening OR glass block window system. Outer stops are to be replaced with new millwork using lead-safe work practices or enclosed with aluminum cladding. Windows for unconditioned spaces do not require Energy Star rated windows. Examples include enclosed porches and garages. (Note: Also include specifications to address the interior and exterior trim and casing using either interim controls or abatement.) 8.3 Exterior Doors (Exterior doors, door jambs, threshold and door casing trim) Location(s): Porch: Door1-(Storm Door), Door2 REMOVE AND REPLACE STORM/SCREEN DOOR (Abatement) Using lead-safe abatement practices, remove and properly dispose of the existing storm/screen door. Install a new storm/screen door sized to fit the door opening. Match existing door swing.
