Brown County is requesting formal competitive proposals for the provision of on-site inmate medical services to provide health care services for the Jail Division of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office. The health care services shall include health care personnel, direct medical and mental health services for inmates, and coordination of off-site medical care, hospitalization, dental and other services that may be needed. The successful firm shall be able to provide these services for the Jail Division of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, which has a capacity of 662 Adult inmates and 15 Juvenile inmates. This contract will primarily focus on services for inmates and indigent/unemployed Huber (work release) inmates. The contract will also include the overseeing of all inmate medications within the Jail.
