Specifications include, but are not limited to: MPS seeks proposals from qualified entities for the purpose of providing First Aid and Injury Prevention Services for Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) Interscholastic Athletic competitions during the Fall, Winter, and Spring sports seasons and occasional fall football practices. MPS is seeking services from practitioners in the following occupational groups: Athletic Trainer Licensed Practical Nurse Registered Nurse Physician’s Assistant Nurse Practitioner Physical Therapist Emergency Medical Technician Physical Therapy Assistant; Providers are needed for an estimated 20 locations for all MPS high school games for boys and girls athletic events, such as: soccer, boys and girls varsity basketball, wrestling, cross country, golf, football and conference track and field meets; as well as MPS specialty events (e.g., tournaments), as needed. Additional events as agreed upon by the Vendor and the MPS Commissioner of Athletics and Academics may be added. Individual providers are eligible for mileage reimbursement for distances traveled to or from games exceeding 25 miles. Vendors will be compensated on a per hour of service basis, with the ability to bill for a 2 hour minimum for any game or event cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
