Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Develop, provide, and promote genetic awareness and educational materials to communities, public health, and clinical professionals. • Conduct outreach to providers who serve Title V populations, especially families who are planning to or expecting children, or parenting infants, to improve knowledge of genetic conditions and existing genetic resources and services. • Provide genetics-related continuing education opportunities to health care providers who serve Title V populations. • Coordinate and cross-promote statewide genetics-related projects or initiatives. • Prioritize equity and actively incorporate community or family voice into program planning and services related to genetics.
