Specifications include, but are not limited to: In general the work consists of: the demolition and replacement of the Central Wisconsin Center’s Food Service Trayline Conveyor. The existing food service trayline conveyor is electrically operated. Measures overall at twenty-eight (28) feet in length. The length of the new conveyor depends on the selected manufacturer. It may be shorter in length. The replacement work entails the engineering, fabrication, electrical wiring, installation, commissioning, and personnel training of the new food service tray conveyor system. The existing trayline conveyor shall be operational until the new equipment arrives on-site, is pre-assembled, new wiring is completed, and the replacement equipment is readied to move into installation. A period of ten (10) days is provided for all pre-assembly, verification, and preparatory electrical wiring. The staging area is the adjacent Canteen. The new system shall be installed and operational within a maximum period of 24 consecutive hours, from 6:00 p.m. on start day to 6:00 p.m. the next calendar day. This is an Agency operational requirement. Included in the installation period: decommission and removal of existing equipment; removal of outdated electrical wiring; final assembly of new equipment; activation of remaining electrical connections; commissioning of equipment; and immediate training of the operational personnel. The 24-hour maximum time-window for Contractor demolition and removal of existing is immediately followed by the complete installation. Complete installation shall include commissioning and personnel training of the new trayline conveyor system.
