The University is seeking bids for an Electrochemical Atomic Force Microscopy System. This electrochemical atomic force microscopy system will be installed in the Gebbie Laboratory facilities in UW-Madison’s Engineering Hall to study structure, dynamics, and surface reconstruction processes at electrochemical interfaces. The primary initial focus will be to expand the impact of Department of Defense research aimed towards enabling high performance electrolytes for safe multivalent ion batteries for soldier use. The system will also be leveraged to advance National Science Foundation research on electrocatalysis for energy conversion and will be used to support other emerging efforts on energy storage and conversion.
