Specifications include, but are not limited to: Construction of two single story, wood framed, slab on grade shelters approximately 1000 square feet each. Construction of treated wood framed, pea gravel filled baffles at intervals down range. Typical baffle panels are 5’-3” high by 12’-0 feet long by 4” thick, on 6x6 treated wood posts with triple 2x6 kickers for lateral support. Total number of panels is 76, for a total of 832 linear feet of baffles. Most baffles posts and kickers are supported on shallow concrete spread footings. In some locations, where possible, spread footings have been replaced with concrete piers in sonotube forms. Bid will also include creation of a 12’ wide access drive lane cut through an existing 15’ high by 60’ wide earthen berm and the construction of an access control gate at the new drive lane.
