Specifications include, but are not limited to: Minor demolition and remodeling of the ground floor of a portion of the C building in the Northwest Quadrant (NWQ) portion of the campus at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee to create expansion classrooms for the recently completed Children’s Center. Work includes - but is not limited to - removal of selected Interior Architectural elements along with portions of existing Plumbing, mechanical and Electrical systems, rough & finish carpentry, sealants, doors, door frames, hardware, new windows in new windows opening ins exterior wall, steel stud and gypsum board wall systems, interior finishes (painting, tiling carpet, resilient base & accessories, suspended ceiling tile and grid systems), toilet accessories, fire protection equipment, fire protection systems, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, communications, security and surveillance equipment, and door access control, exterior play area surfacing and regrading at new window opening. The project will need to comply with DFDM Sustainable Facilities Standards.
