1. 2. 3. Sidewalks shall be 4-inches thick with 4 inches of granular base, and 6-inches thick at driveways with 6 inches of granular base. All poured concrete shall be cured to meet specifications of WI DOТ 415.3.12. All contraction joints shall be hand tooled. 4. Concrete shall be a minimum strength of 3000 PSI. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Concrete shall be a broom finish to create a slip resistant surface. All disturbed areas shall be restored with topsoil, grass seed, and mulch upon completion of the work. The cost of restoration shall be included in the unit price. The contractor shall notify residents in advance if driveway access will be interrupted. The contractor shall properly dispose of concrete. The contractor shall be responsible for any barricades, signage, or traffic control necessary to protect the public and the work. 10. Tree roots that have raised a sidewalk square to be replaced shall be cut by the contractor 6 inches outside of the sidewalk area. Cost of this work shall be included in the unit price. 11. The contractor shall warrant all work for 1 year from the date of acceptance by the City. 12. All work shall take place in accordance with the City's noise ordinance.
