As required by the City’s procurement policy, the City of Wausau, Wisconsin, is requesting proposals for the services of a Certified Public Accounting Firm to conduct the annual financial and compliance audits of the City of Wausau’s operations for the calendar years ending 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029. These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and the standards set forth for financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States, the provisions described in the U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Compliance Supplement, the audit requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance) and the compliance requirements described in the State Single Audit Guidelines, issued by the Wisconsin Department of Administration, statutory requirements, as well as City of Wausau policy. The City has been satisfied with past audit services, and the incumbent firm is invited to propose.
