Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide armed security professionals to control access, operate screening equipment and answer requests for security assistance. Some positions will be for unarmed security. Security will be responsible for opening and closing the facilities each day. Duty hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no County holiday or weekend requirement. This constitutes 52.5 hours per week. Security must be able to provide immediate law enforcement-type response to individual or group acts of violence or disturbance; must be able to control incident, whatever it may be. Security must be able to immediately contact law enforcement agencies for backup via cell phone or radio provided by the vendor.
