Specifications include, but are not limited to:The service to be performed is demand-responsive, limited advance reservation paratransit service for non-ambulatory persons whose disability prevents them from using GO Transit’s fixed-route bus system. If the awarded Conctractor’s vehicles can accommodate multiple wheelchair securements, services may be on a shared-ride basis. If the Contractor receives additional call(s) for pickup of this nature in the vicinity of the first call, or near the route of patrons in the vehicle, the vehicle may deviate, depending on the circumstances, from the most direct route to pick up the additional passenger(s). Shared-ride trips must follow same performance standards listed in this RFP.
