Specifications include, but are not limited to: Purchase of two (2) Sysmex CA-660 coagulation analyzers systems or equal and an open-end contract for reagent/consumables as needed. Vendor is to provide installation and in-service training for medical staff. 3.1.1.1 The equipment must be a single platform that can perform all test methods required by Welch Community Hospital as follows: 3.1.1.1.1 PT and Extrinsic Factors. 3.1.1.1.2 aPTT and Instrinsic Factors. 3.1.1.1.3 Fibrinogen (Fbg), Clauss and derived methods. 3.1.1.1.4 D-Dimer. 3.1.1.2 There shall be full mirror image back-up feature so that critical tests have a back-up in the event that an analyzer is down. They must also include a back-up platform for those times when the primary analyzer(s) are not functional. 3.1.1.3 The system must have the following measuring methods: 3.1.1.3.1 Clotting: Scattered Light Detection method, 660nm/wavelength. 3.1.1.3.2 Chromogenic: Colormetric method, 405nm. 3.1.1.3.3 Immunologic: Turbidimetric method, 575nm. 3.1.1.4 The system must have monitors that will notify, on screen, when STAT tests are completed. It must also monitor the amount of product still available in the equipment to reduce the amount of wasted reagents. The system shall also allow for reagents to be added while maintaining ongoing system operation, eliminating the need for the system to be put in “standby” mode.
