Performance Work Statement (PWS) GROUND AMBULANCE VISN 5 / Station 540 NAICS 621910 The Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center (hereafter LAJVAMC) is conducting this Sources Sought to identify contractors who possess the capabilities to provide ambulance transportation services as described in the attached Performance Work Statement. As permitted by the FAR Part 10, this is a market research tool being utilized for the informational and planning purposes. Your responses will assist the Government in the development of its acquisition strategy. Response is strictly voluntary it is not mandatory to submit a response to this notice to participate in formal RFQ process that may take place in the future. However, it should be noted that information gathered through this notice may significantly influence our acquisition strategy. All interested parties will be required to respond separately to any solicitation posted as a result of this sources sought notice. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. This service will be implemented using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 621910. If a small business is interested in this procurement, they must provide at least 51 percent of the services rendered. DESCRITION OF WORK Purpose: The Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center (hereafter LAJVAMC), its associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), and affiliated healthcare clinics require contracted ambulance transportation services. The contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and necessary reporting for the provision of Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), C3-Interfacilty or Critical Care Transport (CCT) services. The contactor shall make these ambulance services available to the VA as specified in the terms of this contract below. Background: LAJVAMC campus is located 1 Med Center Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301, serving over 25,342 Veterans, primarily from the North Central West Virginia area and it s four Community-Based Outpatient Clinics. The hospital has 103 inpatient beds and sees approximately 1,960 inpatient admissions and 304,714 outpatient visits a year. Likewise, you are encouraged to suggest a CLIN structure that should be used in the future contract (e.g., unit price per inpatient audit, unit per outpatient audit). Your estimate shall not be considered a final quote, rather, the estimate shall be used to assist contracting with determining fair and reasonable pricing when drafting the Governments independent estimate.
