Specifications include, but are not limited to: Rock salt for water softening.1.1The rock salt shall be white southern coarse Louisiana and shouldbe approximately ¼".1.2The rock salt must be clean and clear of foreign matter.2.The University reserves the right to reject any delivery that is notclean.3.The contractor must replace all material in stock if a deficiency inthe delivered material is discovered after delivery.4.The contractor shall deliver the rock salt to the University in bulkloads within five (5) working days after the order is placed.4.1Each load must contain approximately 15 tons, maximum.4.2The contractor shall unload material into the storage bin locatedin the area of the Power Plant.5.The University anticipates using, but is not limited to, eight (8)loads per year, subject to the actual amount of rock salt required bythe University
