Specifications include, but are not limited to: Service: The bookstore has always supported the University community in a variety of non-cash ways, including but not limited to the following: • Donations of merchandise/bags are a big part of the support given. Student organizations, Departmental events, local High Schools, University fund raising events are the major contributions. Approximate annual contributions are $3,500. • The bookstore is also responsible for “Freshman T-shirt” distribution on Move-In day. From placing the order for the shirts to collecting the contributions from the University Departments to handing the shirts to the new students. • The bookstore also does a trade-out of merchandise to the Athletic Department in exchange for sponsorship of basketball games and advertising.
