The City of Charles Town is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors/firms to provide construction services for two (2) pickleball courts located next to the tennis complex in Jefferson Memorial Park. For purposes of this RFP, the objective is to obtain proposals from qualified contractors or firms hereafter referred to as “Vendor”, to provide construction services for: 1. The construction of two (2) pickleball courts following the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) specifications near the tennis complex at Jefferson Memorial Park a. Both courts shall be on a shared 60ftx60ft paved base. b. Both courts shall be resurfaced on top of the paved base in two distinct colors. Color of materials will be chosen by the City of Charles Town. 2. Install of two (two) portable pickleball nets. 3. Layout and paint two (2) sets of regulation pickleball playing lines per ASBA specifications using textured white line paint. 4. Install of a four (4) ft. high black chain-link fence around the court perimeter The work will further include all preparatory site work to include gravel access, grade preparation, and materials acquisition. Pricing should include mobilization, cost of materials, and time. Contractor/firm is responsible for providing all equipment needed to complete the work.
