The vendor must provide all prescription pharmaceutical services as required per order, including picking up, filling, and delivering orders to the facilities’ nursing units. The vendor must package medication in individual unit dose containers (bubble/blister packs, thermal sealed cups or cassettes) at the pharmacy. If vendor is unable to provide all medication in individual unit dose containers, vendor must either have an agreement in place with a local pharmacy or the facility will purchase from a local pharmacy and the vendor will be responsible for reimbursement of such. In the event the purchase of such medication exceeds the price guaranteed by the vendor, the vendor shall be responsible for any excess cost incurred by OHF. The vendor must have an on-call pharmacist available twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days per week for consultation. The vendor also must be able to respond to a "Stat" call.
