The scope of services shall include, but not be limited to the following: The Broward County Broward Addiction Recovery Division seeks a medical records consultant to staff, monitor and maintain a medical records system for clients receiving substance abuse services. The services to be provided are to review and maintain (both open and closed) client records in compliance with funding and regulatory oversight agencies such as Joint Commission, Department of Children and Families (DCF), Medicaid, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
