HARMONY GROVE I/C, located on I-79 between I-68 East I/C MP 148 and Westover, US 19 I/C MP 152 in Monongalia County. This project will consist of the preparation of contract plans and related documents for the construction of a new interchange. The design will be based on the preferred alternative 2C (Tight Diamond Interchange with roundabouts) of the approved Interchange Justification Report (IJR). Professional services shall include the design of construction plans including multi-span bridge and retaining walls, right-of-way plans, surveying services, geotechnical services, and traffic engineering services. A Design Study will not be a part of these services. The Consultant shall reference DD-681 and develop the appropriate Traffic Management Plan, which will also be required. The Consultant shall reference DD-506 and use appropriate pollution prevention and discharge reduction methods in the design. Post design services, if required, will be by a separate Agreement.
