This project includes Laurel Run Bridges EB and WB (BARS Nos. 39A105 and 39A101), which carry Interstate (I) 68 over Laurel Run and County Route (CR) 73/5 and are located at MP 18.03, 3.19 miles east of the junction of I-68 and CR 73/12. Laurel Run Bridge EB is 406.2 feet long and 44.6 feet wide; Laurel Run Bridge WB is 423.6 feet long and 44.6 feet wide. This project shall consist of the preparation of contract plans and related documents for the construction of new bridges at the current locations. Professional services for bridge replacement shall include the design of construction plans and right-of-way plans, surveying, geotechnical services, and traffic engineering services. A Design Study will not be a part of these services. WVDOH Technical Support Division will perform all related environmental surveys and documentation required to complete the NEPA and obtain environmental clearance. The Consultant shall reference DD-681 and develop a Traffic Management Plan. The Consultant shall reference DD-506 and use appropriate pollution prevention and discharge reduction methods in the design. Post Design Services, if required, will be by a separate Agreement.
