3.1.1 Vendor must provide a 12-month Subscription for Barracuda Web Application Firewall 460VX Software with licenses and support or equal. Licenses and support must include the following: 3.1.1.1 Barracuda Web Application Firewall Virtual License 460 Subscription Serial Number: BWFV460A-VX or equal. 3.1.1.2 Support must provide detailed technical assistance to local administrators and be able to interact with the Virtual Web Application Firewalls and basic technical support over the phone and must be provided for twelve (12) months. 3.1.1.3 Virtual Web Application Firewalls must be a virtual appliance capable of running on VMware hypervisor. 3.1.1.4 Virtual Web Application Firewalls must be able to balance loads for a minimum of fifty (50) web servers. 3.1.1.5 Virtual Web Application Firewalls must be able to use Network Protocol layer 7 (Application Layer) rules to route web traffic to correct servers. Rules are the following: 3.1.1.5.1 URL based policies. 3.1.1.5.2 SQL injection protection. 3.1.1.5.3 Header inspection. 3.1.1.5.4 Cookie signing / tamper protection. 3.1.1.5.5 GET/POST parameter inspection and filtering. 3.1.1.5.6 Path based policies. 3.1.1.5.7 HTTP request limiting. 3.1.1.5.8 URL redirects, HTTP response rewriting, http response body rewriting, http request rewriting. 3.1.1.5.9 Authentication proxy for backend services; must provide support for LDAP authentication provider at minimum. 3.1.1.6 Virtual Web Application Firewalls must have a graphical user interface for showing administrators key performance indicators, receiving alerts, notifications on availability, and performance with complete report generation. 3.1.1.7 Virtual Web Application Firewalls must have SSL offloading. 3.1.1.8 Virtual Web Application Firewalls must provide granular traffic transformation capabilities to adjust traffic, including Layer 7 URL switching. 3.1.1.9 Virtual Web Application Firewalls must have a way to backup all settings and SSL keys. 3.1.1.10 Virtual Web Application Firewalls must have a minimum of 5 Gbps application throughput. 3.1.1.11 Virtual Web Application Firewalls must support fifty thousand (50,000) Network protocol layer 7 connections per second.
