Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Pomona ("the City") is requesting proposals from qualified parties ("Consultant") toprepare an Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice ("AI"). The AI must be conductedin accordance with the necessary requirements and guidelines as provided by the Department ofHousing and Urban Development (HUD). The analysis will be used to evaluate, monitor,address, and resolve Fair Housing issues. The Analysis of Impediments (AI) to Fair Housing Choice will encompass and will bespecific to the City of the Pomona and must take into consideration current trends and marketconditions such as the foreclosure and economic crisis. Consultants are asked to describe thetasks required to successfully carry out the scope of Services. The tasks will include:. Working cooperatively with fair housing organizations in the collection of data andinformation needed and in the implementation of fair housing audits needed tocomplete the AI. Working cooperatively with local and regional agencies, task forces, and with variousCity departments to collect and analyze the data. Conducting public meetings/city-wide testing at a minimum of six (6) publicmeetings. The Consultant will be responsible for preparing agendas, handouts, andother presentation materials as appropriate as well as maintain attendance sheets,notes and results of each public meeting. The final work product would be:. A draft AI report for review and comment by the Housing Division, CommunityDevelopment Department, prior to submission of the final document. The report shallinclude an Executive Summary of the conclusions and recommendations for inclusionin the City of Pomona's Action Plan.
