Solution Specifications - 1. Wide Area Network a. Applicant must have a minimum of 100 Mbps dedicated, symmetrical transport bandwidth between the designated endpoints. b. Applicant must have a minimum of 10 Gbps connection from the MIS building at 1600 Beverly Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101 to the Southern WV K12 Network point of presence (PoP), currently located at 1900 Kanawha Blvd., Building 6, Charleston, WV 25305. All sites should aggregate to MIS building. c. The solution must be scalable to 20 Gbps. The Pricing Page Lists 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps, 5 Gbps, 10 Gbps, and 20 Gbps options. Section 7 lists locations and current solution bandwidth. d. Each respondent is required to complete the attached pricing sheet with this RFP. i. Special construction, monthly recurring cost, and any additional non-recurring costs are required to be broken out and listed separately. ii. Respondents are free to propose alternate pricing terms provided they have also included pricing in the requested format. iii. No increased pricing will be allowed during the term of the quoted special construction, NRC, and MRC rate in each pricing cell of the matrix. e. Wood County School District reserves the right to change any circuit to any speed specified in this RFP, and in the proposer’s response, any time during the life of the contract with a 30-day notice to the proposer. Any relevant proposed services and/or pricing contained in the winning proposer's RFP response must be incorporated into the resultant contract. The resultant contract must also contain a provision specifically allowing for upgrades and downgrades during he life of the contract at or below the pricing quoted for that speed in the winning proposer's proposal. f. If an increase in bandwidth is requested during the contract period, the contract does not renew; the existing agreement may be modified to allow the change. g. If a facility of the District should close, Wood County Board of Education reserves the right to relocate a circuit without termination charges or penalties during the course of the contract. In case Wood County Board of Education wishes to relocate a circuit, both parties agree to work in good faith to accomplish this relocation. h. All solutions should adhere to the Service Level Agreement (SLA) terms in Section 6.
