Specifications include, but are not limited to: This contract provides for the excavation and local haul of between 175,000 and 300,000 CY of material from the White River Restoration project to the adjoining northern parcel in Sumner, Washington. There are three potential excavation areas, one north of the existing Cascade Water Alliance tailrace, and two south of the tailrace. Not all excavated materials will be suitable for export. Only materials with acceptably low amounts of organic materials will be exported. Unsuitable material will be stockpiled near the point of excavation. Work consists of mobilizing to the work area, excavating and temporary stockpiling of spoils, developing stable haul routes, improving the existing 148th Bridge or providing a temporary bridge, hauling of suitable soils to the stockpile locations, temporary erosion and sediment control, and site clean-up. The Contractor will be responsible for maintaining temporary erosion and sediment control systems throughout the winter of 2024 to 2025.
