Specifications include, but are not limited to: The following standards shall be used by Community Transit’s staff to evaluate the cleaning services provided by the contractor. Community Transit’s vehicles shall be cleaned as follows: 1. Cleaning of glass & mirrors: Glass is clean when all glass surfaces are without streaks, film, deposits, and stains, and have a uniformly bright appearance and adjacent surfaces have been wiped clean. Interior of windshields will be cleaned with commercial window cleaning solution and new, disposable cloths. 2. Spot Cleaning: A surface adequately spot cleaned is free of all stains, deposits, and is substantially free of cleaning marks. 3. Wall Washing: After cleaning, the surfaces of all walls, ceilings, air duct panels and doors will have a uniformly clean appearance, free from dirt, stains, streaks, lint and cleaning marks. 4. Metal Cleaning: All cleaned metal surfaces are without deposits or tarnish and with a uniformly bright appearance. The cleaner used is to be removed from adjacent surfaces. 5. Sweeping/Vacuuming: A properly swept floor is free of all dirt, grit, lint and debris. All swept or vacuumed dirt or debris will be placed in a facilities garbage can or disposal container and not swept or dropped on the ground or placed in the coach garbage can. All crumbs and debris will be swept or vacuumed off seats.
