Specifications include, but are not limited to: A Contract to procure underground utility locating
and inspection services as requested by various King County Department, Divisions, and
Agencies and the affiliated King County Project Manager (KCPM) or designee. The Contractor shall:
A. Be licensed, registered, bonded, insured, and have a minimum of five (5) years working
experience in locating and inspecting conductive and non-conductive sub-surface utilities
in Washington State including but not limited to:
1. Subsurface electrical lines
2. Metallic and non-metallic pipe and conduit
3. Communication and data cabling
4. Fiber optic lines
5. Natural gas lines
6. Steam lines
7. Water piping (domestic, fire protection, other)
8. Underground storage tanks and piping
9. Sewer lines
10. Storm drains
11. Rebar encased in concrete
